  22.   It  would seem that UFO'S and the paranormal are comming into  the  limelight 
  23. with a renewed interest....

  25.   Mega  is a diskmagazine dedicated to just such material,  based more  on  the 
  26. 'wierd  happenings' of the world in general there's allsorts  inside to  fulfil 
  27. even the most ardent of sceptics.
  28.  
  29.   Everything  from  Hypnosis to 'are you a mad trekkie' can  be  found  on  the 
  30. disk...but more on that later.

  32. THE SHELL!.

  34. ...is self running, once your through the main intro which consists of a little 
  35. animation and scroller, your taken to the main menu.
  36.  
  37.   Rather  than opt for a forwards/backwards menu your presented with  a  single 
  38. line of text which, at first I must admit I thought to be another mini-intro.

  40.  It turns out that the line of text on screen is the first article,  a pres  of 
  41. the  space  bar  sends  you  on a voyage  through  all  the  various  articles, 
  42. unfortunately it's a one way deal, if you miss the article you want you have to 
  43. 'cycle' through all the others just to get to the one you want again :(.

  45.  It's not all that bad though...

  47. THE DISPLAYER!.

  49.   Not  a  lot to say over this displayer,  it works althought  it's  not  fully 
  50. featured,  it DOES however support piccies in Text, this'll make it interesting 
  51. above and beyond anything you've ever read...well, apart from ST+ :)))

  53.  There are few options from within the help menu however,  I suspect these will 
  54. be added as time goes on.

  56. THE ARTICLES!.

  58.   There is a veritable feast of  text in there,  some of which by our very  own 
  59. Lee Round [TTT Editor],  as I stated,  there are a couple of articles all about 
  60. Hypnosis....It'll  be  interesting to see if what I  read  works....stay  tuned 
  61. folks hehehehehe :))))

  63.  As for the amount of features,  well,  let's say if your into the 'wierd' side 
  64. of life [and the afterlife for that matter] then this is something you ought to 
  65. have put in your Xmas stocking :))

  67.   There is plenty to read,  something all to rare in the first issue of  a  new 
  68. diskzine  [ST+  included] so there's value  for  money-a-plenty...well,  it  IS 
  69. free!.

  71.  What's more,  unless I saw an illusion,  Mega also has adopted the pictures in 
  72. text approach, this is something I'll personally be keeping an eye on...<g>..

  74. OVERALL!.

  76.  Mega issue one has room for improvement but I'm led to believe that a few  [if 
  77. not all] of the gripes people have will be fixed for the next issue.

  79.   For a first issue it's a great read,  a few 'oddments' need to be sorted  but 
  80. apart from that the author need not be too worried about how it'll be recieved.
